Do you ever catch yourself justifying the price of your product or service to customers? If this sounds like you then today’s Two Minute Tuesday is just for you! Often when having sales conversations any ‘dead air’ or silence makes us uneasy. That silence however can be powerful in making a sale. If you choose to fill the silence with nervous chatter you are giving the customer the upper hand.
Remain in control of sales conversations by avoiding the price justification, your price is your price. Don’t mistake silence for a problem with the price, your customer may be thinking about how to proceed to the next step. If they do want to discuss price allow them to explain to you why you should drop your price.
